After set up according to regulations, fire safety equipment must be able to be fully utilized in case of a fire. Therefore it is the duty of the administrator to ensure that the equipment is well maintained, and commission fire safety inspectors for regular checkups. The result of the checkup is sequentially required to be registered at the local Fire Safety Division.

The Article 9 of the Fire Safety Regulations enforces that all public facilities must establish a fire safety zone. And the administrator must commission fire safety inspectors to conduct periodic checkups and report the result to the local Fire Safety Division; And the division is to conduct double checks at its discretion. The fire safety measure of buildings over 15 stories or 50 meters must be examined by specialized organization certified by the central administration division.
¡iPenalties¡j
A repeatable fine of NTD $10,000 to NTD $50,000 is applicable to administrators who fail to demonstrate improvement on the quality of safety equipment within the given time after failing to pass the Fire Safety Examination.
Fire Safety Inspectors are subject to a fine of NTD $20,000 to NTD $100,000 for faulty reports.
